The Monterey Scottish Games and Celtic Festival Announces Plans for 2023 and 2024 Events
March 13, 2023. Monterey, CA. The Monterey Scottish Games and Celtic Festival’s Games Committee is pleased to announce that it is planning its 2024 Celtic Festival, with a Monterey Bay Celtic event to be held in 2023.
In July, 2022, the 53rd Annual Monterey Scottish Games and Celtic Festival brought outstanding music, food, athletics, and performing arts of Scotland, Ireland, England, and Wales to the Monterey Peninsula. The festival’s attendance doubled from the prior year, creating a very successful event to remember. It featured numerous pipe bands and solo piping competitions, drum major competitions, an array of top Celtic musicians, Highland dancers, athletes, clans, living history, sheepdog and duck herding, a coveted VIP lounge, Ceilidh and kitchen piping contest, whisky seminars, craft beer garden, a range of delicious food and beverages, and more.
