Fisherman's Wharf Association is proud to hold its “St. Patrick’s Day Celebration: Luck of the Irish Calamari & Cocktail Crawl on the Wharf” festivities at Old Fisherman’s Wharf in Monterey, California.
The Wharf restaurants will be serving a variety of delicious calamari and specialty cocktails for the St. Patrick’s Day holiday. From to Baja to Buffalo calamari to traditional calamari and more, try several of them at the Wharf restaurants (for a fee).
Love the sound of the pipes? Sponsored by Monterey County Bank, award-winning professional bagpiper for over 45 years, Pipe Major Michel d’Avenas, will be performing on the Wharf and visiting the restaurants from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
The Wharf will be decorated for St. Patrick’s Day for great photo ops!
Have a bit of a sweet tooth? Why not stop by our 3 candy stores after dinner: Carousel Candies will feature its famous Irish Cream Homemade Salt Water Taffy and more, plus Candy World and the Wharf Chocolate Factory will also feature some special St. Patrick’s Day confections.
Enjoy great photo ops at Old Fisherman’s Wharf with lots of St. Patrick’s Day decorations up and down the Wharf courtesy of Fisherman’s Wharf Association and Diagio Brands (Beverage Company that represents Guinness Stout, Guinness Zero (non-alcoholic), Harp Lager and Smithwick's Irish Red Ale). Capture some fun photo memories with family and friends.

Monterey bagpiper and instructor of the Great Highland bagpipes, Michel d'Avenas has been teaching in the greater Monterey, California area for over 45 years. He performs weekly at the Inn at Spanish Bay, and is a full-time professional bagpiper for weddings, funerals, and other events in the area. He is also the pipe major of the competitive Monterey Bay Pipe Band.
