April, 2016. Pacific Grove, CA. Coming to Carmel in May, the perfect play to take your Mom for Mother’s Day – as well as your sister, brother and friends - is being staged by Chris Caffrey, founder of A Caffrey Girl Production. After her success with “Parallel Lives” in February, Caffrey is stepping into a new maternal theme with the funny and poignant production of “Motherhood Out Loud” at the Carl Cherry Theatre for the Arts.
According to Caffrey, “Of course, everyone has had a Mother, Stepmother or Foster Mom, and inevitably we all have an array of special memories – whether good, bad or perhaps indifferent. We chose “Motherhood Out Loud” partially to celebrate the Mother’s Day season and also because of its thoughtful approach to such a universal and important character in all of our lives.”
