September 1, 2016
Check out this wonderful exhibit!
From October 7 to November 9, 2016, the Cherry Center for the Arts will present in honor of the city's centennial celebration the exhibit CARMEL MODERNISM: A Retrospective. Organized by MAARA: Monterey Area Architectural Resources Archive, this exhibit will examine the early influence of the master architects like Richard Neutra and Frank Lloyd Wright whose presence on the peninsula gave way to subsequent generations of architects whose work is the local legacy we celebrate today. This exhibit will reveal through photography, renderings and blueprints their contribution to the built environment that is Carmel. Be sure to stop by and see this fascinating exhibit.
