4th of July on the Wharf and Photo Contest
Enjoy a visit to the Wharf plus a colorful 4th of July Photo Contest on Monterey's Old Fisherman's Wharf. Stop by the Wharf on the 4th of July and enjoy all of the festive decorations. Take a photo of yourself, your friends or family, and join in the photo contest fun of the “Old Fisherman’s Wharf’s 4th of July on the Wharf's Red, White, and Blue Photo Contest.” Participants are encouraged to dress in red, white, and blue attire and visit the Wharf on July 4th and take a photo for a chance to win Wharf Dollars.
To enter, get creative and take a photo dressed in red, white, and blue at Old Fisherman’s Wharf. Photos should be taken in front of any Old Fisherman's Wharf business or in front of the iconic Wharf sign at the head of the Wharf. Submit photos to [email protected] by Midnight on Thursday, July 4th to enter the drawing to be eligible to win Wharf Dollars. On the submitted email with the photo, use the subject line, "Old Fisherman's Wharf Red, White and Blue Photo Contest". The three winning photos will be featured on the Wharf's social media. Prizes include:
- 1st Place: $100 worth of Wharf Dollars
- 2nd Place: $50 worth of Wharf Dollars
- 3rd Place: $25 worth of Wharf Dollars
Wharf Dollars can then be redeemed at any merchant on the Wharf.
All photos must be submitted by Thursday, July 4th at Midnight to be eligible. Winners will be announced by Thursday, July 18th.
In addition to the contest, Old Fisherman’s Wharf merchants will feature 4th of July specials, including special confections at the three candy shops.In 2024, America will celebrate its 248th birthday after its independence was achieved from Great Britain following the Revolution War. The founding fathers signed this declaration on July 4, 1776.
